We are a small, independent, low overhead practice. As such, it is not viable for us to accept insurance payments.
However, we are able to charge much lower rates for office visits because we have eliminated the cost of doing business with insurance companies from our practice expenses.
Most return office visits are 30 minutes and new patient visits are typically one hour. We limit your expenses by trying to do as much information gathering and paperwork as possible via online forms.
If your child needs diagnostic tests such as autism testing, the costs are a bit more. Testing equipment is expensive and report writing is time consuming when done properly. A typical testing and report writing session takes 2-4 hours of physician time.
We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and health savings account(HSA/FSA) cards.

Phone and Email Support
Short email contacts and phone calls are included in our fees and are no additional charge to you. Sometimes, extensive phone calls are needed to sort out a concern, or to give you the support you need. We charge a fee of $25 for phone calls lasting 10-20 minutes and $50 for phone calls over 20 minutes. Some insurances will pay for this service. We will submit to your insurance company for any phone charges. We will invoice you and charge your card on file for any balance after insurance payment.

Insurance and Payment
A $50 deposit is due at your initial appointment. We will take your insurance information and a method of payment for the balance after insurance payment, such as a credit card. After your visit, we will submit your bill to your insurance company on your behalf. When we receive money from your insurance company, we will send you a statement. We will automatically charge any balance due to the card you left on file. You have the option of paying your balance with check, credit card, debit card, or HSA account.
We do not want cost to prohibit you from receiving care for your child. If needed, please talk with us about a sliding scale or setting up monthly payments for up to 6 months with the card you leave on file. For those who choose a payment plan, we add a 3% service charge to each monthly payment for administrative and credit card processing fees.
